We collect pet food for people who need help feeding their animals. Our outreach efforts in the community have resulted in many requests from many caretakers of stray cat colonies. At this time we are providing food to over 600 stray/barn cats. We constantly need to replenish our supplies of cat food, and appreciate your donations of cat food without additives.
We have been doing Trap Neuter Return (TNR) for cat colonies in towns, subdivisions, industrial areas and farms around Sussex County since 2008. Our Medical Center is designed for high-volume spay/neuter clinics. In addition to continuing with TNR, we will hold spay clinics for female Pit Bulls at no cost. We will also offer low and no-cost spay/neuter for the pets of people with limited income.
We also provide medical care for community cats. We provide whatever care is needed to restore an ill or infujured cat to good health, no matter what the cost, in accordance with our No-Kill ethic. In addition, in certain circumstances we provide low and no-cost medical care for the pets of people with limited income.
